Services

We defines, governs, and assesses legitimate fractional practice. We work across two audiences with clearly separated responsibilities.

For Fractional Practitioners

Standards, Structure, Audit, Assessment

Defines and determines legitimacy

We exist to define and protect professional legitimacy in fractional practice.

This work does not teach.
It does not coach.
It does not help you “look” legitimate.

It determines whether your operated practice meets the minimum conditions required to be relied upon.

Services include:

  • The Fractional Practice Operating Standard (FPOS)

  • Structural audits of operated fractional practices

  • Formal, evidence-based assessments

  • Determination of status based on operated reality, not intent or experience

Outcomes are binary. A practice either satisfies the Standard or it does not.

Formation and Practice Development

Builds operating capability and structure

This work exists to support experienced executives who are building toward governed fractional practice.

Formation focuses on installing the core operating controls required to run a professional, multi-client fractional practice.

These controls govern how authority is held, work is structured, clients are managed, and outcomes are delivered under pressure.

Formation phases include:

  • Formation Phase 1 - Establishing the foundations of an independent fractional practice by installing the essential controls across positioning, offer design, pipeline, deal structure, and delivery.

  • Formation Phase 2 - Advancing from operator-led delivery to advisory authority and practice-level operation, with deeper governance across rhythm, portfolio, leverage, and professional resilience.

Formation develops operating capability and structure. Professional status is determined separately through assessment.

If you are unsure which path is appropriate, a brainstorm session can help clarify next steps. This conversation is exploratory only and does not constitute assessment.

How Our Work Is Structured

To protect professional integrity, we maintain strict separation between formation & learning, structural alignment, and professional assessment. Each serves a distinct purpose and is not used to imply or substitute for another.

Fractional practice is not defined by working part-time. It is defined by whether authority, accountability, and independence hold under real operating conditions.

For Founders, CEOs, and Boards

Fractional leadership is not a cheaper version of executive talent. It is a different governance model. When authority, scope, and accountability are assumed rather than explicitly designed, risk accumulates quietly and often surfaces later as operational or leadership failure.

Our work with founders, CEOs, and boards focuses on establishing structural clarity before organisational reliance is introduced. Where appropriate, we source and appoint fractional practitioners whose operating models have been independently assessed and determined to meet the conditions of legitimate fractional practice.

We help you determine:

  • Whether fractional leadership is structurally appropriate for the mandate

  • What authority must be explicitly granted for accountability to exist

  • Where scope must be bounded to avoid role drift or employment substitution

  • Whether the engagement can be safely relied upon under pressure

  • Which assessed practitioners are structurally suitable for the role

This work includes governed hiring advice and practitioner evaluation, grounded in operating structure rather than résumés or availability.

Online Structural Assessment

An independent, evidence-based review to determine whether your fractional structure is sound, incomplete, or misaligned.
